The purpose of this topic is to gain a broader knowledge of storing the overproduction of energy, which is produced from wind turbines, solar cells, wave energy, etc.

How can we use it, and what is the theory behind some of the possibilities that exist to store the overproduced energy.

For the first part of the assignment, we start with an HT-TES storage.

HT-TES is an experimental set-up store that uses the overproduced energy, transferring the energy to some large heat guns that heat up rock storage to approx. 600 degrees, Celsius.
